So, here’s the scoop – I live in my cozy mountain hometown of Fernie, BC with my husband and our sweet black lab mix, Moose (the best boy). By trade, I’m a registered nurse, and by love, I’m a photographer who found her creative calling behind the camera.

I’ve always been captivated by the idea that everyone has their own unique story, a belief that’s rooted in something I later learned has a name: sonder — the realization that every person has a unique and intricate story unfolding in their own life. Growing up, I was fascinated by the quiet moments between people—how a simple glance could speak volumes or how a fleeting touch could hold so much meaning. I’d watch my family members, friends, and strangers, wondering about their lives and the stories they carried. Now, as I capture weddings, I bring that same sense of curiosity and connection to my work. Every smile, every tear, every shared laugh is a part of a much bigger narrative. I’m honored to document those moments, knowing they’re just one beautiful chapter in your bigger story.


In 2017, I Lost My Dad.

Photos became my lifeline to him. A way to revisit the warmth of his embrace, the joy of our memories together, the comfort of being fully present with someone you love.

These photos were taken back in 2017, on one of the last hikes I did with my Dad. Breathing in these moments can take me back to that day. I look at these photos, and I can still remember everything - how the sun felt hitting my face, how much comfort I felt in my Dad's embrace, how much joy I felt by seeing the growing bond between my Dad and my (now) husband. I'd give everything to go back to that day, but I know these photos are all that I can hold onto.

When I say I'm here for the real, honest connections – I mean it. For me, it is not about creating the perfect photograph, it’s about capturing you, just as you are, and the moment, just as it is. When you look back on your photos, I want you to remember how it felt to have the sun hitting your face on the day you married the love of your life, or how much comfort you felt in your dad’s embrace after walking you down the aisle. We all have our own stories –I can’t wait to get to know yours, and I’d be so honored to play a small part in helping you tell it.

I’m drawn to soft, nostalgic tones and textures, with a touch of grain that makes each photo feel timeless and lived-in. My style leans away from bold and bright, instead embracing muted tones that highlight the quiet beauty of your day.

We do things a little bit different around here.

From the music I listen to, to the vintage style I love, I’ve always said I was born in the wrong era. and should have been in my prime in the '70s or '80s (based on my dance moves). I have a soft spot for the tangible: the charm of film photography, handwritten notes, and moments that hold real meaning. It’s a vibe that speaks to me, one that blends nostalgia with a love for authenticity.

Born in the '90s but call me old-fashioned.

Spending time outside on my mountain bike, on our drift boat with a fly rod in hand, or on foot in the mountains with good pals, good snacks and of course, our boy Moose. Spending time outside is where I feel most at ease, though I won’t say no to snuggling up on the couch with a good book and good cup of coffee, or sweating it out in a spin class.

Though I am often outside exploring a new hiking trail, or eating snacks in the backcountry - I am a homebody at heart, and love the simple, quiet moments at home, snuggled up on the couch with Seb & Moose with a coffee in hand, or in our little backyard oasis we've built together reading books or making wood-fired pizza.
