Being close to the mountains, Cranbrook experiences all four seasons and each season has its own magic and endless list of things to do for you and your wedding guests. The most popular time of year for a Cranbrook wedding is May to October. Personally, my favourite time of year for weddings is September - the weather is not too hot, the fall colours are starting to turn, and it is less busy than the summer months!
what's the best time of year to have a wedding in Cranbrook?
Absolutely!! An initial 25% non-refundable retainer to hold your date is required, then the rest of your package balance can be split up into additional payments, just let me know this upon booking and we can make a payment schedule that works for you!

This can vary depending on the package, type of coverage, and style of photographer, but most couples spend $3500 to $5000 on average for Cranbrook wedding photographers.

Cranbrook has a variety of wedding venues for both your ceremony and reception, with incredible views. With small towns also means a limited amount of options so ensure you reach out to venues well in advance to secure your date! To name a few, St. Eugene Golf Resort, Bull River Guest Ranch, and Kimberley Alpine Resort.
what are the best cranbrook wedding venues?
Yes! Firstly, I shoot with a camera that has dual memory cards, so there are always two copies of your images as I am shooting. After your session, I back up your photos in multiple locations to ensure there are always copies available and that they are safe. I do encourage you to do the same and backup your photos in multiple locations when you download your gallery.
do you backup our photos?
For sessions, I am open to rescheduling one time if the weather is extremely bad! For weddings, EMBRACE it, choose to let go of the uncontrollable and focus on having the best day possible. Sometimes the best thing to do is roll with the punches on the day of and that's when some magical images can be created!
what happens if there is bad weather?
Yes! Though I am based in Fernie, BC, I am always up for travel and am happy to go wherever love takes me! Travel is included for most locations within Alberta & Interior BC. Travel fees may apply for areas outside of this.
